The People’s President – Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

You can call him ” The Missile Man” for his contribution in development of ballistic missile and launch vehicle technology or you can call him ” The People’s President” for his simplicity and love for the people of the nation. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was an excellent Indian Aerospace scientist and the 11th President of India who chose to serve only 1 term and then lead his life serving public, writing and inspiring the people and especially students. His life itself is an inspiration. His journey of being an average student from a humble background to a brilliant scientist and then a President with hard work and dedication is awe-inspiring. He received several awards like Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Bharat Ratna etc. for his contribution. Post Presidency he became a Professor and also launched ” What can I give ” movement to end corruption. His contribution on all levels are highly commended by all.
